Buyers Laboratory (BLI) was commissioned by Canon Europe to conduct confidential document imaging device performance testing on the Canon imagePROGRAF iPF780 and the 36″ Epson SureColor SC-T5000, and produce a report comparing the relative strengths and weaknesses of the two products in terms of image quality, productivity, ink consumption, direct PDF submission, device feature set, driver functionality, and banner and poster printing.
