Back to Did You Know

Recently, Canon went back to basics when testing and comparing the results of the new Canon Water Resistant Matt Polypropylene (Matt PP) media against the same images printed on Canon Semi-Gloss Photo paper, by offering them to the elements on top of their Tokyo office building.

As expected, the Photo-Gloss media did not do well in outdoor conditions and after 1 month the image was totally destroyed. However, the same image printed on Matt PP was as good as new and still going strong even after 3 months.

In fact, Canon Matt PP is ideal for outdoor display for up to 6 months…but of course, the weather resistant range doesn’t stop at just posters, there are the outdoor banner and self-adhesive options too.
