Traditionally, your customers would have a dedicated large format printer for a particular task and Canon’s line-up used to reflect that. They’d have one product for photographs, another for line drawings and so on.
More recently, Canon’s clever developers were given an almost impossible task. Design one product that can produce stunning, long lasting graphics as well as precise line drawings, on plain and photo paper. Not only that, but the new products must print at a much higher speed than the existing range (which were already incredibly fast).
And so began the journey to develop the TX range of products.
